Blocks. Lines. No nonsense.

Klodser is the block puzzle you know: three pieces at a time, an 8 × 8 board, rows and columns that clear. Without the ads, the “continue for $2.99”, the boosters and the tracking. Just the game, and it plays fair.

Klodser on iPhone: a piece held over the board, its shadow in place and two lines lit up, ready to clear

The game you know, done properly.

A fair dealer

Every set of three pieces can always be placed in full on the board as it is. If the game ends, it's because of where you put things, never because the dealer was mean.

Nothing in the way

No ads between games, no offers to continue, no boosters, no energy, no daily login prizes. Close the app and come back: your game is where you left it.

Made to feel good

The piece floats above your finger, its shadow snaps into place, and the lines it would clear light up. Wooden plonks, bubble pops, a kazoo when it doesn't fit and a sad trombone at the end.

Free. Just enjoy it.

Klodser is free. That's the whole app and every feature, with no ads and no subscription. Just use it, and students: keep your money for noodles.

If you're doing alright, you can become a supporter inside the app. That gets you the show-off icons: a few extra app icons, so your home screen knows you're not just another freeloader. Nothing gets locked, and freeloaders are still very welcome. Peter isn't judging. Much.

Questions

How do I play?

Drag a piece from the bottom onto the board. Fill a whole row or column to clear it. When all three pieces are placed, you get three new ones. The game ends when none of your pieces fits anywhere.

How do points work?

One point per block you place. Lines give 80 for one, 240 for two, 480 for three and so on, times your combo. Keep clearing lines within three moves to grow the combo. Emptying the whole board gives 300 extra.

What does “fair” mean here?

Before dealing, Klodser checks that the three new pieces can all be placed, in some order, on the board as it is. The game gets harder as your score grows, with more big pieces, but it never deals a set you can't place.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Klodser never goes online. It works in flight mode, on the underground and on the beach.

Can I turn off the sound or the vibration?

Yes, each has its own switch in Settings. Sounds also follow the silent switch and mix with your music.
